WSI Accounting was founded in 2006 by Carl Zaremba. Originally a home-based business — but just like Microsoft, it eventually outgrew the home office and a new location was needed. After a long search, the ideal space was found at 2210 Riverside Drive, and the new office opened its doors in January of 2010.
Carl Zaremba is very different than the stereotypical accountant. He is friendly and very much concerned about his clients and their well-being. That is why WSI Accounting's philosophy is "Looking Beyond Numbers" — we care about our clients and do everything we can to help them.

Carl holds a B.A. in Accounting from Central Washington University and has been practicing since 1996. His areas of focus include tax planning and preparation, small business accounting, estate planning, bookkeeping, and non-profit entities. Known for his patient, client-first approach — he's the kind of accountant who speaks your language.
Sarah brings a background in business management, web design, and graphic design to her role at WSI. A Skagit Valley College alumna (2004), she keeps the firm running smoothly while ensuring clients always feel welcomed and well-served.
